This is a very nice quality dress and coat ensemble made of light green silk Dupioni with beaded accenting.  The dress is made in a simple sheath style - sleeveless, above the knee length with slight accenting of the body silhouette.  It has a “jewel” neckline that is decorated with silver grey beads, aurora sequins and crystal rhinestones.  The hemline is similarly decorated.  The dress is lined in white fabric that I think is viscose and does up the back with a nylon zipper.  The coat has similar simple lines with a shirt type collar, a matching five button closure as well as a snap at the neck. It is also fully lined, but in a pale greenish yellow acetate fabric.  Please note that this set was too large for my mannequin, so was pinned back - silhouette may be slightly different on the proper sized body.

Condition:  The set is in very good condition with no wear, tear, soiling, staining or odour.  This was a “going away” honeymoon outfit that I acquired from the estate of the lady, so was only used for that purpose and put away as a keepsake. 

This is a lovely quality Jackie Kennedy era set, very pretty in this light green silk - although put away for years, this deserves to be used and loved again!
